Stairs were a Problem…
Stairs were becoming a problem. Jerry didn’t like to admit it, but he found himself planning his days around a few unsteady trips to the second floor. He held tight to the railing and rarely carried anything that weighed more than a couple of pounds or required two hands.
A few times, he’d felt his heels clip on the front of the stair treads, but had fortunately been able to steady himself in time. Still, he found himself nervous and uncomfortable with every trip and it was actually a relief when his daughter, Joanne, suggested looking into a stairlift to make things a little easier.

Since the stairs were straight, Jenn, in the service department, was able to schedule an installation for later that week and after just a few hours of work, Jerry took his first ride on his Stannah stairlift.
